Veterinarians are in high demand and new graduates are no exception. As reported by the AVMA, 94% of 2020 graduates secured either full-time employment or advanced education opportunities at least two weeks before graduation. Representing 39% of the US veterinary workforce, millennials are also the largest generation currently in the veterinary workforce. Retaining new graduates will depend on how satisfied they are with each of the essential components of their offer throughout their time with a practice.
