About the event
Keeping Your Options Open: Pivoting as a Mid-Career Professional
This summit is focused on mid-career professionals and alternative careers in veterinary medicine. This is your opportunity to learn from and ask questions of those who have pivoted successfully outside of the clinic.
This summit is for you if:
- You are >5 years out of school
- You feel comfortable and confident in your current role, but are looking for something more
- You are not satisfied or bored with your current role and you are looking for something different
- You’re looking to develop skills for a future career transition

- This event will let us break bread, swap stories, and share strategies with members and other veterinary professionals in the DMV while making connections that will grow your local veterinary support system.

Virtual SummitÂ
- Our virtual events are for every veterinary professional and this event will focus on ways mid-career professionals pivot their veterinary experience into a new phase of their veterinary career.
